A. SILVIA ROSS, M.D.
Dr. A. Silvia Ross is cofounder and managing partner of Triangle Arthritis & Rheumatology Associates.
She is board-certified in Rheumatology and Internal Medicine. She attended medical school at the Federal University of Paraná in Paraná, Brazil, and completed her Internal Medicine residency at Michael Reese Hospital Medical Center in Chicago, IL. She completed her Rheumatology Fellowship at the combined program between Michael Reese Hospital Medical Center and the University of Chicago.
Dr. Ross currently serves as the North Carolina Rheumatology Association (NCRA) president. With a passion for advancing women in medicine, she also holds positions as Co-Chair of Global Affairs for the Association of Women in Rheumatology (AWIR) and Local Chapter Leader for AWIR in the Triangle area. In addition, she is on the Planning Committee for the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) Winter Rheumatology Symposium.
SHERRY L. SINCLAIR, M.D.
Dr. Sherry Sinclair is a native of Clinton, NC. She earned a BA in Biology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and an MS in Physiology from North Carolina State University. She received her medical degree from East Carolina Brody School of Medicine and completed an Internal Medicine Residency and a Rheumatology Fellowship at Medical College of Virginia-Virginia Commonwealth University. She has been in private Rheumatology practice since she joined Triangle Arthritis in Raleigh in 1998, and she is board-certified in Rheumatology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.
Dr. Sinclair is a member of the American College of Rheumatology and the North Carolina Rheumatology Association and enjoys seeing patients across the entire spectrum of Rheumatological care. She is busy outside of work with her husband and two daughters, and she enjoys teaching Sunday School at White Memorial Presbyterian Church, gardening, and spending time with friends.
Prarthana Jain, DO, MPH
Dr. Prarthana Jain is a board-certified rheumatologist and internist with expertise in rheumatology, a strong focus on women’s health, and a commitment to addressing health disparities. Her clinical interests include lupus and scleroderma. She earned her medical degree from Midwestern University, an MPH from the University of Miami, and completed her residency at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Jain completed her fellowship at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, where she actively engaged in scholarly activity and advocacy efforts, as well as focused on improving access to rheumatic care within rural North Carolina. As a dedicated member of the American College of Rheumatology (ACR) and the Association of Women in Rheumatology (AWIR), she is committed to delivering exceptional care for a wide range of rheumatologic conditions.
Outside of medicine, Dr. Jain enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with her husband and their dog.
