Dr. Chmelewski has been a blessing...
I have gone through many months of pain, tests, questions, symptoms, etc. to try to figure out a diagnosis. Dr. Chmelewski was able to pinpoint and answer so many questions and it looks like we have FINALLY narrowed down the causes of my problems.

THE STAFF IS FABULOUS...
I was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis more than 25 years ago. When I moved to Raleigh in the summer of ’05, this practice was recommended to me and I became a patient of Dr. C’s. He always listens to what I have to say and lets me take control of my care. Dr. C is always on time (no easy feat for a busy doctor!) and never rushes through our appointments. The rest of the staff, from the girls at the front, to all the nurses to Erin, Dr. C’s PA whom I have seen on numerous occasions, are just as fabulous. This is why I stayed with this practice even when my health insurance changed and Dr. C was out-of-network. Why mess with a good thing?!

the best doctor ever...
Thank you so very much Dr. Walter Chmelewski for being the best doctor ever. I have had Rheumatoid Arthritis since 1993. It is a horrible disease and you have been with me every step of the way. Even in the early days of my disease, you were willing to treat very aggressively with new, innovative therapies. I believe this was instrumental in keeping my disease controlled helping me make the most of my life at a time I was needed most by my young boys. I can’t imagine a better, more supportive doctor. Even now as I relocate to Pittsburg, I will be back periodically to work with you to continue the fight.

If you are fortunate enough to be a patient...
If you are fortunate enough to be a patient of Dr. Chmelewski’s you know that you can relax in the knowledge that you have the best care. Dr. C. is always patient and attentive, and made me feel he was concerned with my overall health. I was originally coming to Dr. C for Arthritis type symptoms but with his experience he knew something else was going on. He sent me to get further testing and found that I had Lupus along with rheumatoid arthritis. Over the past 8 years Dr. C. has taken time to carefully examine and offer the best treatment suggestions for me and with his help I have been able to have two kids and live as much as a normal life as possible. Dr. Chmelewski truly saved my life. Dr. C. positive attitude and concern for his patients makes him a valuable member of Triangle Arthritis and Rheumatology team!!

"TARA" has helped improve my life...
I would like to say how much TARA has helped improve my life. When I came to see Dr. Ross I had almost given up on having a good quality of life. I came to see her out of desperation after twenty four years in the us army always in good physical shape, rheumatoid arthritis had brought me to a very low point in my life. Dr. Ross evaluated my situation and recommended I do monthly infusions. My RA got much better with less pain and immobility. When I do have an occasional flare-up , I am able to go to the office for extra care. I am always treated with professionalism and compassion. I would like to say thank you to Dr. Ross and all of the staff for a better life.

I’m exceptionally pleased...
I was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis nearly 10 years ago and have received care from rheumatologists both here in Raleigh and in NYC (where I lived for nearly 5 years). I’m exceptionally pleased with the care I receive from Dr. Silvia Ross and the staff at TARA. Together, they provide care that is patient-friendly and patient-centered. I’m glad I found them and will continue to recommend others to this vibrant practice.

How blessed I am to have this wonderful and brilliant physician...
In June 2009, Dr. Silvia Ross determined that I had Wegener’s granulomatosis, an incurable but treatable disease that would interrupt 74 years of excellent health. She immediately began treatments and medications to get the ‘enemy’ under control and to ease my almost unbearable pain. She never allowed me to feel hopeless, but diligently used her remarkable wisdom and medical knowledge to insure that I had the very best, and often the newest, methods of treatment necessary to send the ‘enemy’ into remission. Today, I have no pain, I can walk normally, am able to enjoy mowing grass, even driving my tractor and doing things I thought I’d never do again. I believe it’s through God’s divine intervention that I was referred to Dr. Ross, who still does a fantastic job keeping me on just the right course of treatment with the very same care and concern that she provided on the first visit to her office. How blessed I am to have this wonderful and brilliant physician.

an immense benefit to me and my family...
My experience with Dr. Sinclair began over 15 years ago. As a young woman, who’s grandmother suffered terribly with arthritis, I knew to seek the best doctor possible when pain began in my hand. Dr. Sinclair is dedicated to her patients wellbeing with her expertise in Rheumatology. In addition, her desire to aid her patients in a happier, more active lifestyle has been an immense benefit to me and my family. I would recommend Dr. Sherry Sinclair to anyone who believes they may have or feel the onset of arthritis.

They have my highest recommendation....
I have been a patient of Triangle Arthritis and Rheumatology Associates (TARA) for over a decade. Most healthcare visits seem like a necessary evil at worst and a cold impersonal experience at best. TARA has always been a
breath of fresh air in that regard. From the front office staff, nurses, P.A., down to the Doctor they have always been warm, friendly, helpful and
most of all caring. My Doctor, Sherry Sinclair, always has taken all thetime needed to not just ask questions but listen so she can find the very
best treatment available. They have my highest recommendation.
